Wad of Clay | Serpentine Transmission

Serpentine Transmission is an improvised music quartet of:

Nicki Chen (electro acoustic viola and pedals)
Nicholas Deyoe (guitar)
M.A. Harms (drums/percussion)
Micaela Tobin (voice and electronics)

In performance, they creep their way through delicate melodies and atmospheric textures into extreme sound walls of avante-doom, cathartic drone, and vehement noise. Their first release, titled “Wad of Clay” is a recording of their first performance together at Oracle Egg in Los Angeles, March of 2024.
